Blue  Ribbon  Bass

          

Gary and Kyle attended the annual Kentucky Taxidermy Association (KTA) convention and competition held August 6 - 8 in Lexington, Ky. Kyle's 5 lb. large mouth bass entry earned him a first place blue ribbon in the professional division. His entry also won "Best in Class" and the Polytranspar award, which is given to the highest scoring fish of the competition. Kyle's entry scored 94 of a possible 100 points. Gary
received the Elkhorn Creek Chapter of Ducks Unlimited award for his Mallard in water entry as well as a perfect score of  50 points  for his Mallard and snow entry for the habitat portion of his composition.
